Raw Water Intake 

Raw water intake needs to be replaced as it’s an old line installed in 1979. Needs to be redone from the intake screen to the raw water pumps. 

Raw Water Intake Building & Sedimentation Basin 

• Need new surface scatter turbidimeter – meter from 1999. 

• All the chemical pumps need updated to modern pumps. They are 1999 pumps. 

• Control panel needs updated. 

• Trac-vac controls are worn out. The panel is 1999. 

• The sedimentation basin has cracks all over outside and inside. Should be either replaced or coated. 

• The trac-vac inside the sedimentation basin is worn out. It’s from 1999. 

• Flucculators in the sed. basin for chemical mixing are worn out (x2). 

• Controls for trac-vac on the basin are worn out – need new piping hoses etc. 

• Need new static mixer for chemical agitation. 

• The raw water building block structure is crumbling and walls are rotting.  

• Water waste sump is worn out. 

Main Treatment Building 

• Main water plant building is deteriorating – block is crumbling. Was built in 1979. Building needs to be rebuilt. 

• All major piping scaled and pitted badly. 

• All chemical pumps and piping need replaced.  They are from 1999. 

• Tube settlers need replaced and all air valves are worn out that operate tubes for dumping. 

• Filters are 1979. We are losing media into the clearwell when we are in filter production. It’s getting in our turbidimeters and final sample point. 

• The clearwell is 1979. It needs to be redone – also all injection points inside chambers, all piping in front of filters and operating valves, air/electric operated 

• We still need one treated water pump fixed. 

• Need all control wires in front of effluent line replaced as it’s all rusted and falling apart. 

• Need new turbidimeters (x3), CL17 and online pH meter. 1999 models, worn out. 

• The lab needs to be updated to modern spec. We have been using the same stuff since 1999 and earlier. 

• The main power stack that controls the whole plant is 1979 and is in dire need of replacement. 

• Need backup generator and updated switchgear. 

• Need ADA bathroom. 

• All sump pumps up front are aging ,1999 

• Sewer grinder pump needs redone with new 

• Backwash basin is too small, needs upgraded. 

• Need new backwash pump.
